String libraries, along with other orchestral instruments, are often considered the pinnacle of sampling. The time, energy and cash flow required to record even one string player can be huge. So when somebody samples some strings and brings them to our audio doorsteps for FREE, it's worth mentioning any day!

So we bring you Intimate Strings Lite from sampling world newcomer, Embertone! Intimate Strings Lite is a 500MB library with over 700 samples of a string quartet. Nothing fancy, but an excellent sound to be had here. This library seems prime for layering over your larger libraries to give them a more sweet tone. But hey, do what you want with it!
