This week’s freebie is an amazing virtual sampled trumpet and trombone instrument; Bell and Bone by Librewave.
Bell and Bone comes as a library that loads into the Rhapsody Player, so be sure to download that first (you can get it from the Librewave website). But once you get it loaded, you get a nearly full-featured trumpet and trombone instrument that combines samples and modeling, and sounds pretty darn good.
Bell and Bone comes with a healthy amount of articulations, including three different mutes, falls, rips, full vibrato control, growls, flutters, and more. For a free instrument, it’s pretty spectacular.
